A message from the President...........

Dear Family and Friends,

I want to thank you and welcome you to Vangkoomsab website. I encourage you to explore
vangkoomsab website, and let us know how you would like us to implement or improved it.
As you explore vangkoomsab website, you will find numerous helpful reminders here,
including news and upcoming events.
First of all, please allow me to express my sincere
thanks to the individual and business owner volunteers who have provide their time,
expertise and income to enrich VangKoomSab family clan . I also appreciate our active Boards,
in conjunction with our hardworking volunteer staff, creating the right balance of
competency and spirit to set the mission of VangKoomSab.

During the last eight years, with the support of the VangKoomSab Board and enthusiastic
members, the family clan has grown from strength to strength. Today, with closed to 200
family members in the twin cities and across the United States and 150 to 500 family member
across the globe. VangKoomSab aims to enhance the quality of higher education and Hmong
tradition through building strong family clan by promoting good, practice, providing advice,
information and expertise, and developing links between vangkoomsab family clans and
other clans in the Twins Cities and across the United States.

VangKoomSab relies heavily on the voluntary work of its members and the
intellectual capital the membership bring to the activities.  Again, take the time
to help create something wonderful in our family clan or a non-profit of your
choice and make our life in the state of Minnesota simply better.

I look forward to using this website a platform to discuss the target for the
2011-2013 Board and strategies to achieve them with the support of our family
clan and the community.

Best Wishes to all,
Wangthai Vang, President
VangKoomSab
